Chairman Peoples Club of Nigeria International Detroit Michigan Branch (PCNIDM)
Dr. Uche Obua is a humble and dedicated servant who wears many caps in Peoples Club of Nigeria International. He was inducted into Peoples Club in 2018 and has had a meteoritic rise in the club since then. Immediately after his introduction, Dr. Obua was nominated for the position of Assistant Secretary of the branch, a position that was vacant at the time. During the next elections in 2021, Dr. Obua was elected as the General Secretary of the branch.
At the Peoples Club of Nigeria International Convention in 2021 in San Francisco, California, Dr Obua was nominated for the position of Peoples Club of Nigeria International (PCNI) General Secretary. At the same convention, Dr. Obua was again nominated as the Secretary to the Sensitization Committee, which was formed to assist in expanding the number of branches, the membership and reach of the Club in the Americas. During the November 2024 elections at the branch level, Dr. Uche Obua was elected to the position of Chairman in a landslide. This win propelled Dr. Obua to the position of Chairman of all the Chairmen (International Leadership Council Chairman) in Peoples Club of Nigeria International. The position of Chairman of Chairmen is rotational, moving from branch to branch biannually.
Dr. Uche Obua, fondly referred to as Double Doc, holds two doctorate degrees (in Biochemistry and in Nursing). He is the CEO of Gela Staffing, LLC, Apex Wellness Center, LLC and Gela Productions and Entertainment, Inc. Dr. Obua is married to Munachi Obua, they have three lovely children – Marissabella, Megyn and Mason and live in West Bloomfield MI. An experienced scientist, healthcare provider and philanthropist, Dr Obua’s passion, tenacity and dedication to duty and to mankind have been blessed with success as he impacts and makes a resounding difference in the lives of his patients and members of the community at large.
